With the Cardinal Health new business pitch, we took a chance and placed all our eggs in one basket (or nest, as it were). Familiar as a healthcare professional brand but with no experience in the consumer landscape, we came into the pitch with a single, big idea– the Red Bird of Healthiness. The bet paid off, big-time. We won the business and launched an approachable, consumer-friendly side of Cardinal Health in smart, strategic places where we could connect with recently discharged patients and caregivers best– upon leaving the hospital, at-shelf in drugstores and in the waiting room during in-office visits.
